Hey, there - My name is Stephanie!

I am in my thirties and I teach middle school for a living. My degree is in Finance but I'm so happy to have found my true calling in teaching. It is a job I love going to every single day. It also affords me the pleasure of being a working mom and during the summers, SAHM. I love baking, especially cupcakes, and I'm a sufficient cook. It's safe to say my husband, Chris, is the cook in our family though. Chris and I are Sooner fans, so college football is big in our house and Saturdays during the fall are reserved for game days and maybe some light online shopping on my part.

Chris and I got hitched in 2011 and moved from Oklahoma to North Texas later that year. I began this blog to document the DIY projects we were knocking out at a rapid pace when we bought our house in 2012. In 2014, we had a beautiful baby girl and the DIY has slowed down considerably. My new focus for this blog is just to throw out there whatever is happening in our lives. Some of my favorite bloggers are just blogging their lives and that's what I'm all about.
